You continue into the dark, murky forest.
The flora are thick. There aren't any chances to explore besides the bare
dirt path you walk along. It's surprisingly dark for the middle of the day.
The tree canopy seems to block out all sunlight. The atmosphere is illuminated
by some unknown gentle light source. Sounds of the forest creatures
surround you, crunching leaves, breaking branches, skittering in between blades
of grass. It's a little overwhelming. Regardless, there is a certain
peacefulness that overcomes you.
You navigate between the lush plants for what starts to seem like hours.
Your sense of time becomes distorted, but you're not sure if it's the
heavy fog dulling your senses, or perhaps you are just hungry from your
journey in this new place.
